Sunday Stamps II - 5

issued December 1971
25th Anniversary of UNICEF (United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund)
created in 1946 to provide food and healthcare to children in countries that had been devastated in WWII. It is now active in over 190 countries and territories.

Next week's challenge is shaped stamps, or if you don't have any shaped stamps, maybe a stamp from Australia as it is Australia Day on Jan 26th.

Lots of choices for this theme. Nice clear message on your chosen stamp.

Striking design, sadly their work seems ever expanding.

Nipping in while I still have an internet connection.

I actually didn't realise how UNICEF started or really how long ago. As Joy says, the need doesn't seem to become any smaller.
